Sesame Street Market gets ready for a Sweet Valentine's Day

 Sesame Street Market, located in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, has released photos of its new Sweet Valentine's Day collection, to go on sale inJanuary.


Along with the expected faces of Cookie Monster and Elmo, this collection also features appearances by Abby Cadabby, Zoe, and Big Bird. 

The characters appear in pastel colours on a range of mini pouches, keychains, postcards and stickers, plus chocolate coloured plushies of Cookie and Elmo.

Sesame Street Market also features a café, with 4 Valentine's themed treats set to be released:
Elmo Donut (milk tea glazed)

Cookie Monster Donut (chocolate glazed)

Valentine's Heart Donut (Raspberry glazed)

Valentine's Character Latte Art (Elmo/Cookie Monster or Abby Cadabby)

The character merchandise will be released online on January 9th, while everything will be available in-store from January 16th.

Rozen Maiden Hairpins from Mayla

Mayla is a brand famed for their shoes inspired by anime characters, but they have recently released a new line of hairpins, inspired by the dolls from Rozen Maiden.  Clockwise from top left, Mayla are selling hairpins inspired by Suiginto, Kanaria, Suiseiseki, Souseiseki, Kirakisho, Hina Ichigo, and Shinku. New Yukimi Daifuku Inspired Snacks

 Yukimi Daifuku are the iconic, mochi-wrapped vanilla ice creams that Japan is famous for. But recently, 2 new snacks inspired by the dessert have been released. First, is the Yukimi Daifuku Inspired Bread: This soft bread, made with whipped cream to give it an airy texture, is filled with vanilla milk cream, which imitates the taste of the vanilla ice cream inside Yukimi Daifuku. Next, is the Yukimi Daifuku Inspired Drink: This milk-based drink tastes like vanilla ice cream, and contains soft balls made from rice flour and konnyaku, designed to imitate the chewiness of the mochi.  Both items are now on sale at Family Mart, and cost ¥158 for the bread and ¥278 for the drink.
